About us
We’re an English–Czech couple — Keith and Simi — living near Prague. Both of us speak fluent English and Czech, so we’re well equipped to help with every detail of your visit.
Our mother (and mother-in-law) is obsessed with beads and beading. Her passion inspired us to start organising group trips across the Czech Republic to explore bead production and uncover the rich history of the beading industry here.
Our tours are thoughtfully planned and personal. Everyone who’s joined us has loved their experience. Our goal is to give you a personalised, memorable visit while you’re with us.
Over the years we’ve met many interesting people in the Czech glass industry, and we enjoy working with friends who keep the old crafts alive. One of them is Stanislav Jiroš, who still makes traditional Czech black glass jewellery — černá bižuterie — by hand. Have a look at his website.
